Supporting MyPo!nt Festival
STOWARZYSZENIE EUROPE 4 YOUTH
Rabka-Zdrój, Poland
Description
In May this year, we are organizing a festival called MyPo!nt. The aim of the festival will be to create a space for expression and civic engagement for those whose needs are often overlooked in today's democracy – it is their "po!nt" that we want to hear and empower. Larps (Live Action Role-Playing Games) and spaces for artistic expression will serve as a tool for expression of needs, opinions, concerns, and expectations. The festival will be bilingual (Polish and English), to ensure everyone feels welcome and included, regardless of the language in which they play, create, or connect. The role of the volunteers will be to provide support with preparation, organization and implementation of MyPo!nt Festival, and some of the possible tasks of the volunteers could be: preparation of spaces, assisting in costume-making, providing organizational support during the festival, taking role of NPCs (Non-player characters) in larps and others.
