Organization introduction Our mission is to help families develop sustainable values that will be passed on to all target audiences. The Caritas program of the Kaunas Archdiocese "Child Welfare Institute" (VGI) has been operating since 2016. The main goal of this program is to help a child grow up happily in a family and to give adoptive and guardian families a space to communicate with each other, to get to know children and their characteristics better, to hear their inner voice - intuition, and to free themselves for a joyful relationship with the child. Volunteer will be able to: play with the children, help them to prepare homework, help them to learn new subjects, go for a walk. https://vgi.caritas.lt/

Do you love spending time with children (and teenagers)? We’re looking for an enthusiastic, motivated volunteer to join our team and support our work with children aged 10 to 17 years old (mainly 10-12). We’d love to meet you if you are: *Comfortable speaking in English *Emotionally intelligent, patient, calm and open to all kinds of children’s emotions - both the sunny smiles and the stormy days *Ready to collaborate with both children and staff *Living a healthy lifestyle - no smoking, alcohol, or other substances during work hours *Ready to volunteer the whole duration of one year PLEASE SUBMIT YOUR CV AND MOTIVATIONAL LETTER IN ENGLISH. PLEASE NOTE, THAT ACCODING TO LITHUANIA'S LAW, WE WILL HAVE TO PREPARE YOU THE QR CODE WHICH SHOWS THAT YOU DO NOT HAVE ANY CRIMINAL HISTORY TO BE ABLE TO WORK WITH CHILDREN.
