We have planned several activities for our volunteer in Augustin Hébert Highschool (International Vocational Education Training (VET School)) both to offer them a variety of actions: - Communicate about Europe using innovative practices (games, active participation) - Participating in the creation and running of a language café workshop - Create a workshop-debate on the films in the running at the American Film Festival and prepare the visit to the festival - Co-lead small groups of pupils with the project leader on cultural themes: music, theater, gastronomy and architecture - Help write articles for the website and social networks - Use web tools recommended by the school (ENT, Pronote, website, Kahoot...) - Work with young people as part of educational and cultural workshops - Raise awareness of eco-responsible practices and the objectives of sustainable development, as defined by the UN. - Help the "sustainable development" team and explain to the students how to develop it...
Modalités d'hébergement, de restauration et de transport
The program ensures the accommodation and expenses for electricity, water. The accommodation will be in Evreux city center close to our office, the highschool and central station so that everything is accessible by foot. - Health insurance for the whole period of the project - When your tasks require it: covering your local transport costs; - travel expenses according to distance calculator of EU. Evreux is a small town one hour from Paris by train and one hour from the sea.
Formation pendant l’activité
An on-arrival training will be set up. The volunteer will also have trainings with the employees of Maison de l'Europe. Our workers will make the participant take part of the National Agency's seminars and the informal days of gathering organized by our partners.
Profil du participant
We are looking for a participant who is interested about International Vocational Education Training (VET) developpement and youth mobility, European Union and intercultural exchanges. Our activities can target youth, students, and adults. We often do interventions in schools and youth centers, we also tend to have an important presence on social medias. We talk about various topics : environment, women's rights, international mobility, managing projects, languages, etc... We are looking for someone who is curious and motivated and would like to share his/her experience.
