Seeking for an unforgetable volunteering outdoor experience? This unusual opportunity will allow you to immerse in permaculture and natural construction in the heart of nature in Posaga de Jos, Carpathian Mountains of Transylvania in Romania. As a volunteer you will experience very sustainable way of living, when helping the organisation to grow a spac for the local community and at the same time learn about permaculture principles and ethics, site tour, and work on initial hands-on workshop (including cob building, building a thatched roof). You will have the opportunity to hike in the mountains, bath in the streams or just relax in the "Dupa Gard" - the JJ FILMS & CULTURE property & lush gardens. Modalités d'hébergement, de restauration et de transport
Volunteers will be accommodated mostly solo or in double rooms in tiny Houses or Glamping Yurtas. Facilities (kitchen, compost toilet and shower) are outdoors! Volunteers will receive pocket money and food. Volunteers are provided with program insurance Henner. Travel will be reimbursed according to the EU guideliness. Formation pendant l’activité
Volunteers will focus on natural construction including cob/clay building a thatched roof. The project will serve a space for hands-on environmental learning, sustainable practices developement and an opportunity to experience eco living in Carpathian mountains, focusing on permaculture and working in harmony with nature. Volunteers will learn how to build a thatched roof and help with building one, learn cob/clay building, learn about the community, nature and environment as well as how to apply sustainable solutions in their daily life.
Profil du participant
Participants with communicative level of English. Ready to volunteer with agriculture, natural materials, dirt in rural area, close to nature. Ready to cooperate in multicultural group of volunteers. Willing to learn about environment, natural construction and subsistence.
