Description
Farfalle nella Testa is a cooperative that deals with communication of science public engagement with science and sustainable tourism. The volunteer will be involved in support the staff during the guided tours, educational workshops and events, especially during summer season; assist the staff during the ordinary and extraordinary management of the Butterfly House: maintenance of tropical greenhouses and more in general of the museum; help during the breeding and care of insects and other invertebrates and vertebrates; assist to the staff for the caring of plants and outdoor gardening activities etc.
Modalités d'hébergement, de restauration et de transport
The volunteer will be hosted in a three-floor house with a garden, located in Bordano. And will share a room with another volunteer of the same gender. Volunteer will be provided with money to shop for food - 150 euros. A pocket money of 6 euros per day will be provided monthly. Farfalle nella Testa can put at disposal bicycles. The travel expenses will be refunded on the basis defined by the EU commission.
Formation pendant l’activité
Volunteers will participate in the On Arrival Training organized by the Italian National Agency. Associazione, Joint, the coordinating organization, will organize an on arrival training with the volunteers and the coordinator and mentor of Farfalle nella Testa.
Profil du participant
Available for the whole duration of the project. We look for volunteer who: is passionate about nature, insects and other animals - willing to work in team - communicative and open-minded. Ready to live in a small village; highly motivated to learn Italian. We expect CV and Motivation letter in english.
