Volunteering in Athens

IASIS

ATHINA, Grèce

Description

The project offers a unique chance to join a volunteer team and the IASIS community through engaging activities centered on individuals facing mental health challenges and other vulnerable groups. Volunteers will receive training focusing on clothing reuse, the circular economy, and supporting vulnerable populations, all within an interactive and friendly learning environment. They will collaborate with vulnerable individuals, form teams, and take part in awareness and educational initiatives. A highlight of the project is contributing to the "Celebrate Love" fashion show, which features recycled garments while amplifying the stories of marginalized individuals. This event promotes mental health, social inclusion, and environmental awareness, inspiring the local community. Volunteers will be part of a passionate team committed to social impact and sustainability. The experience offers valuable skills in project management, creative collaboration, and community engagement
