Description
Team Up Albania Saranda will bring together a group of enthusiastic Italian and Albanian volunteers who will join Beyond Barriers Association (BBA) for a three weeks. The programme will combine learning, creativity and cultural exchange, offering volunteers the chance to engage with local youth, schools and communities, through diverse educational and intercultural activities. The volunteers will implement a variety of initiatives designed to promote active citizenship, inclusion and European values. The experience will foster mutual understanding and teamwork while promoting solidarity, inclusion and European identity. It will create lasting connections between the Italian volunteers and Albanian youth, leaving a positive mark on both the local community and the participants themselves.
Modalités d'hébergement, de restauration et de transport
Volunteers will be accommodated in flats rented by the organization in picturesque town of Saranda, South Albania, in double rooms, fully equipped. Formation pendant l’activité
The volunteering team will receive a comprehensive training program before and during the activity. This includes an introductory session on ESC values and project objectives, practical workshops on event management and intercultural communication, and guidance on teamwork and problem-solving skills. Ongoing mentoring and reflection sessions will ensure volunteers gain valuable competencies while contributing meaningfully to the event.
Profil du participant
We are looking for motivated and enthusiastic young people (18–30 years old) from ESC Programme or Partner Countries (Italy and Albania) to join our volunteering team in Saranda, Albania. Volunteers will realize activities on the territory with differente target groups, doing promotion of EU mobilities in schools, creative workshops in kinder gardens, promoting Italian cultures and learning about Albanian culture. Ideal candidates: open-minded, sociable, and eager to engage with people, interest in youth activities, cultural exchange, team players with adaptability and a positive attitude, good English skills (other languages are a plus). Volunteer tasks include: preparing and setting workshops, sharing information about activities and opportunities around Saranda, interviewing people, interacting with locals and collaborating with local stakeholders, organizing actives and games. Benefits: hosting, food, pocket money, travel costs covered by ESC, insurance and mentorship, experience in event management and intercultural teamwork.
