During “Count Us In: Conducting Informational Activities about Key Social and Environmental Challenges”, 10 participants will take part in awareness-raising and informational activities focused on major social, climate, and environmental issues. The project aims to sensitize both participants and local communities to these challenges, increase understanding of their causes and impacts, and encourage active involvement in addressing them at both personal and community level. Activities include campaigns, workshops, exhibitions, games, quizzes, and group discussions, promoting values such as solidarity, equality, diversity, and social inclusion, while fostering active participation among young people and supporting vulnerable groups. Modalités d'hébergement, de restauration et de transport

KEAN is responsible for fully covering the cost of your accommodation and the travel costs. The volunteers will stay in a shared fully equipped apartment in the center of the city of Athens which meets the required standards of hygiene and safety and has all the necessary equipment (home appliances, furniture, heating, household appliances, sheets, blankets etc.), it provides easy access to the public transportation and has access to the Internet, in order to promote and facilitate the communication of the volunteers with both their family and our organization.

Formation pendant l’activité

Detailed training will be offered to the volunteers on the activity’s ethical and no harm codes, the organization’s environment protection policy and rule of conduct, on sensitive issues when working with vulnerable groups and the needed safety measures for working in the nature, not to disturb the local ecosystem. The main principles will be followed are: Equal participation and collective decision making Peer learning and support Learning by doing Active participation Continuous guidance by experts Training on organizing and implementing awareness raising activities

Profil du participant

Participants will need to be EU citizens, 18-30 years old. Moreover, they will need to have: - good grasp of English and/or Greek Language -interest in the topics of environmental protection and social challenges -desire to engage in group activities to tackle environmental and social challenges Young People with fewer opportunities are strongly encouraged to apply for this activity.
