The Park Circle: Our Space In Nature To Connect
Viešoji įstaiga "Inovatorių slėnis"
Antalieptė, Zarasų r., Lithuania
Description
Innovators' Valley is an NGO with a mission to serve the local community and step by step develop this historical and natural place as a social innovation, environmental and non-formal education centre. We want the Innovator's Valley to be a meeting place for creators and enthusiasts from diverse fields. Music and art residents, Folk High School students, archaeological researchers, volunteers, international youth and local villagers - all make this place a rich community. With a group of 10 international volunteers, the Innovators’ Valley team and a local carpenter-magician, we aim to transform the local park into a connected circle. We already invested a lot of love and energy to create spaces to enjoy nature: a geodome, a herbal garden, an archery range, and a viewing platform, but those elements are scattered throughout the park area. We plan to change that by renovating and connecting existing elements with new paths - created with our own hands.
Accommodation, food and transport arrangements
The travel expenses will be reimbursed, according to your distance band budget. Participants will live in shared rooms (3-5 people) in 17th century “Carmelite Monastery”, Antalieptė.
