Description
Imagine spending up to 12 months in Kielce (Poland)- a chance to develop yourself, gain experience, and explore whether working with children is the right path for you. On a daily basis, you will support teachers as an assistant in educational and cultural institutions, working directly with children and gaining practical skills in education, teamwork, and communication. You may also run language and arts workshops for the local community, sharing your culture and creativity. The project includes self-defense and first aid workshops, as well as communication and assertiveness training with a psychologist, plus activities in a local Geopark focused on nature and biodiversity. Project launch: August–September.
Modalités d'hébergement, de restauration et de transport
3–4 person shared flats, each volunteer has a private, shared kitchen, bathroom, and living space close to the city centre or well-connected by public transport. You’ll receive a city transport card. Pocket money: €6 per day Food allowance: €3.28 per day (enough for groceries at the most popular discount stores) Accommodation: fully covered Local transport: free city card provided Travel reimbursement: up to the limit based on distance – check your limit: ESC distance calculator Henner insurance Visa support
Formation pendant l’activité
In addition to your daily activities at your workplaces (schools, nurseries, cultural centres), you will also have the opportunity to take part in other workshops: - Self-defence and first aid course - Communication and assertiveness training with a psychologist - Sports events (volleyball, basketball, football, frisbee ultimate) - Cooking workshops and community meals - Intercultural evenings and integration activities - Mandatory ESC On-Arrival and MID-Arrival Trainings
Profil du participant
-No specific knowledge, skills, or previous experience are required – all necessary competences can be developed during the project. -Ability to work in a multicultural environment. -Flexibility and creativity. -Openness and a positive attitude. -Motivation to promote solidarity. -Commitment to project activities. -Ability to build relationships within a group. -Good communication skills and sociability. P.S. Participants are welcome regardless of gender, beliefs, preferences, or level of education. However, volunteers must be able to stay for the full duration of the project.
