Unpolished. Unfiltered. Unforgettable. Volunteering in Kaunas’ Most Bohemian Art House
VšĮ „Actio Catholica Patria“
Kauno menininkų namai
Kaunas, Lituania
Descripción
Kaunas Artists’ House is not just a cultural institution — it is a shifting stage, a testing ground, a beautifully imperfect organism at the heart of Kaunas. A place where ideas are tried before they are safe, where art is allowed to be messy, political, tender, loud — and deeply human. A platform for bold ideas, disobedient creativity, and encounters that don’t always fit neatly into categories.
This is where performance spills beyond the stage. Where identities are explored, questioned, rehearsed. Where communities don’t just gather — they transform each other. Through contemporary art, residencies and community-driven events, we create encounters that are sometimes unexpected, sometimes uncomfortable — but always meaningful.
Tasks:
Co-create and run creative workshops
Bring events to life — set up, shape atmosphere, welcome guests
Connect with Kaunas’ international community
Collaborate on cultural events
Develop and implement your own creative project

Perfil del participante
We’re looking for someone curious, fearless, and ready to dive into creative chaos. Someone who thrives on connecting with people, sharing ideas, and embracing differences — especially queer perspectives and unconventional ways of being. Flexibility is key, because no two weeks here are alike. You don’t need an art degree; what matters most is genuine curiosity about art, culture, social change, and the world as it unfolds around you.
