The project brings together young people from European countries and local youth, creating an intercultural environment based on friendship, teamwork, and mutual respect. Through sports activities, we promote peaceful coexistence, reduce prejudice, and support personal development, self-discipline, and socialization while helping children reduce digital dependency. Volunteers will facilitate creative workshops, speaking clubs, theatre and art sessions, sports activities, and cultural events. They will support refugee children’s education, organize community events, and join visits to the Elderly Care Home to foster intergenerational dialogue. Participants will also gain experience in Erasmus+ project design, teamwork, and youth engagement in a structured and supportive setting. Alojamiento, manutención y transporte

Volunteers will stay in fully equipped shared apartments in the city center, within walking distance of the office and Youth Center. Apartments include internet, TV, washing and dishwashing machines, and are close to public transport and shops. Accommodation, food allowance, and pocket money are provided. Travel costs are reimbursed according to ESC distance limits, and transport for project activities is covered.

Formación durante la actividad

Volunteers will take part in the standard ESC training cycle. They will develop skills in intercultural learning, leadership, conflict resolution and crisis management.Turkish language classes focused on speaking skills will be provided. Volunteers will receive a Youthpass certificate. On-arrival training is organized by the sending organization, while mid-term and final training are delivered by the National Agency.

Perfil del participante

We are looking for highly motivated young people aged 18–30 who are interested in youth work. Applicants may be highly engaged with technological devices but should be willing to reduce screen time and promote active lifestyles. Volunteers should be eager to build friendships with local and refugee youth, open to intercultural learning, and ready to share their own culture while learning Turkish language and culture. We value open-minded, flexible individuals who can work independently and as part of a diverse team, contribute creative ideas, and actively participate in community-based activities.
