Description
In many communities from Vâlcea, children and teenagers still have limited access to environmental education and to meaningful experiences in nature. Eco Solidarity Summer responds to this gap by creating summer schools in both urban and rural areas, where young participants learn through outdoor activities, creativity and teamwork. The summer schools aim to strengthen sustainable habits, healthy outdoor lifestyles and community spirit while reducing the rural-urban gap in access to ecological education. The summer schools combine environmental education, outdoor exploration and creative community-based learning.
Modalités d'hébergement, de restauration et de transport
For accommodation, the volunteers will share rooms in apartments in Ramnicu Valcea city, Romania The transportation will be reimbursed in the first days of their arrival, according to the distance band offered by the European Commission: https://erasmus-plus.ec.europa.eu/resources-and-tools/distance-calculator For local transportation, the organization will cover the costs Pocket money+food allowance will be 320 for the project
Formation pendant l’activité
In the first week of the project, the volunteers will have an on-boarding training about facilitation and mission of the organization
Profil du participant
- Young people between 18 - 30 years old, living in a European country, interested in environmental activities, and outdoor learning, open working with children/teenargers from local communities, flexible, collaborative and ready for intercultural work
