READ MORE AND APPLY HERE: https://www.nuorisovaihto.fi/allianssi-youth-exchanges/esc-vthpa-baltic-sea/esc-volteam-nova-estonia-7-22-5-26/ The main focus of this volunteering team will be on practical activities such as cleaning the beaches and seashore of the Baltic sea, maintainance of a small harbour in Rannaküla, tidying up and cleaning a municipal park in Nõva and the local school area. In addition to this, volunteers will contribute to the local community by helping elderly people living in Nõva by preparing firewood for the heating season, painting, light renovation works, and gardening. The volunteers will also help to plant trees in the area. There is a plan to take a boat trip to the islands nearby to explore the Baltic Sea.

Alojamiento, manutención y transporte

In wooden huts on bank-beds. A sleeping bag is required. All facilities like showers, toilets are provided at the school. There is also a traditional Estonian sauna. Food will be cooked by a professional cook in the school kitchen and served to volunteers.

Perfil del participante

We are looking for motivated volunteers who enjoy spending time in nature, are not afraid of physical work and don't mind simple accommodation. Candidates must be 18 to 30 years old and reside in one of the eligible countries. When adding together this new volunteering opportunity and any previous participation in EU volunteering programmes, the total duration cannot exceed 12 months.
