Description

CPIFP Alan Turing is a leading VET (Vocational Education and Training) school in Málaga, focused on Information Technology and Electronics. We’re based in Málaga Tech Park, home to over 600 tech companies. We offer cutting-edge programs in game development, AI, software, cybersecurity, and electronics. We are strongly committed to European cooperation, and have been active in international projects since 1987. As a volunteer at CPIFP Alan Turing, you’ll take part in dynamic projects designed to empower young IT students. Your tasks will include: supporting Erasmus+ and international projects, running workshops on soft skills and English communication, creating content for social media and digital marketing, engaging in cultural activities and youth participation initiatives, contributing to innovative fields like game development, AI, cybersecurity, and robotics. You'll work alongside teachers, students, and staff to co-create a multicultural learning environment.

Modalités d'hébergement, de restauration et de transport

Volunteers will live in a private room in shared apartment with other volunteers (utilities included). They will get food allowance of €150/month + pocket money of €180/month + €50/month from hosting organization and a monthly bus card for commuting to work. Project will reimburse travel costs from the city of origin to Málaga and back. The volunteer’s schedule will consist of approx. 25–30 hours/week, which are usually distributed in the morning. Formation pendant l’activité

Expected Learning Outcomes: experience working in the field of vocational education, specifically preparing and leading non-formal educational activities; development of organizational skills and the ability to manage a wide range of activities; experience working with a specific target group (young IT students); improved language competencies both in English and Spanish; experience in intercultural teamwork and development of communication and cooperation skills; in-depth knowledge of Erasmus+ and international project work; recognition of learning through the Youthpass certificate.

Profil du participant

We're looking for motivated, responsible, and creative volunteers. You're a good match for us if you are excited about working with young people and tech education; ready to engage in both teamwork and independent projects; interested in culture, languages, education, or technology; want to develop skills in communication, international cooperation, or teaching. English fluency (B2 minimum) is required in both speaking and writing. The basic knowledge of Spanish is preferable but not a requisite.
