Description

You will support kindergarten teachers in their daily activities and help create a warm, safe, and engaging environment for children. You will assist with English classes and spend active time with children, encouraging learning through play, creativity, and interaction. You can bring your own ideas into the weekly programme by developing games, educational activities, decorations, and other creative inputs that enrich everyday life in the kindergarten. You will take part in the co-creation of gatherings for parents and the wider kindergarten community, and join festivals that promote international volunteering, non-formal education, and training activities. You will support teachers in preparing celebrations for regular holidays and traditional Slovenian festivals, helping to create meaningful and joyful experiences. You will also develop your own personal project with the support. Modalités d'hébergement, de restauration et de transport

You will be accommodated in an apartment with a single bed room or  share a two single bed room and shared kitchen and bathroom. You will receive a monthly pocket money and depending on your location also a lump sump for covering your travel costs. In ESC programs also the insurance is covered and we are also taking care of your monthly ticket for local transportation.

Formation pendant l’activité

You will be part of the ESC training cycle: 1. predeparture training organised by your sending organisation or National agency in your country, 2. on-arrival traning and 3. mid-term evaluation organised by Slovenian National Agency in Slovenia.

Profil du participant

We are looking for someone with a genuine interest in working with preschool children and supporting their development through topics such as intercultural learning, non-formal education for children and youth, creative leisure, and awareness of discrimination, prejudice, and stereotypes. You will be fluent in teamwork and cooperation, working closely with teachers, parents, and children. You will be adaptable to change and able to communicate these changes in a constructive and supportive way. You will bring an open mind and heart to your work, along with a strong sense of trustworthiness and personal responsibility. You will be creative and playful in your approach, contributing ideas and activities that engage and inspire children. You will also be able to bring and lead activities related to culture, sports, arts, crafts, and other hands-on experiences that enrich preschool life.
