Management of a Volunteer House

Description
We are looking for a proactive volunteer to manage our volunteer house, "Casa Jazmín", in Sanet i els Negrals, Alicante. You will welcome and support different volunteer groups (teens/adults) arriving every 12 days, making them feel at home. As part of De Amicitia, you will assist camp leaders with logistics, shopping, space organization, car maintenance, activities, cooking, and cleaning. Taking care of the house plants and our lovely cat, Bartolomeo, is also part of the daily life! Initiative and a hands-on attitude are essential.
Requirements:
European driving license (Type B) and experience driving manual cars is mandatory for logistics and shopping.
High motivation and adaptability.
Proactivity and willingness to help in all daily tasks.
Two days off per week to rest and explore the area. The beach is 20 min away; the small village has a pool. Valencia and Alicante are 1 hour away.

Modalités d'hébergement, de restauration et de transport
Accommodation: You will live in "Casa Jazmín" (Sanet i els Negrals), a 3-story house for 20 people. It has 4 bedrooms, 2-3 bathrooms, an equipped kitchen, a multi-purpose room, a terrace, plants, and a cat (Bartolomeo). Village pool nearby; beach is 20 min away.
Food: Provided by De Amicitia, but volunteers must cook their own meals.
Transport: Pocket money and transport covered according to program rules. Manual cars available for project logistics.

Profil du participant
We are seeking an independent, reliable, and empathetic volunteer with a strong sense of initiative. Since you will be the reference point for incoming groups, good communication skills and a welcoming personality are highly valued. You must hold a valid European driving license (Type B) and be comfortable driving manual transmission vehicles. Flexibility, teamwork, a proactive attitude towards manual tasks (cleaning, cooking, maintenance), and a desire to be fully integrated into De Amicitia's daily life are essential.
