Welcome to Aubigne Racan, a small but dynamic village in the middle of the Loire Valley! Come and take part in the wall renovation to continue the work that was started by a first group of volunteers. For a dozen years now the mayor and the villagers are very enthusiastic to welcome international groups. For this year’s work, you will learn how to rebuild the wall, supported by professionals in masonry, including a Compagnon du Devoir, the prestigious craftsmanship school. If you wish to learn professional masonry techniques in a joyful and international atmosphere, this project is for you!

Alojamiento, manutención y transporte

You will be accommodated in tents (provided by Concordia) at the municipal stadium, which is a 10 minutes’ walk from the worksite! Group life will be organized nearby in a room provided for the group. There, you will share the various group tasks and activities. Together, you will participate in organizing group life (cleaning, activities, etc.) and take turns preparing meals using products you will purchase locally. The activity leaders will have a budget to cover these expenses, but you will be responsible for preparing the menus and doing your own shopping.

No specific skills are required to take part; all that is needed is a commitment to the project and an interest in intercultural exchange and community life.
