Description
Tasks of the volunteer: - To be part of the team of the Library at the Varna University of Economics - To support the work related to the digitization of the library archive - To support the work related to the guidance of library users - To support the work related to organizing and arranging the library - Publishes information on the library's social networks - Other various tasks or projects related to the activities of the library
Modalités d'hébergement, de restauration et de transport
Volunteers are provided with: - accommodation in a single room in a flat in Varna, - pocket money according to the programme rules - money for food and transport in the city, - international health insurance - international certificate for participation in the European Solidarity Corps programme
Formation pendant l’activité
- Bulgarian language class - on-arrival and mid-term trainig
Profil du participant
Applicant Criteria: We are looking for communicative, creative, loyal and proactive individuals interested in acquiring new skills and knowledge. He/she should be willing to work in the library. There are no specialised education or experience requirements. The candidates must be up to 30 years old, inclusive, according to the requirements of the European program Solidarity Corps. The team will select a participant with a strong interest and motivation to be part of the development of the alternative youth culture in the city of Varna. Work time: 30 hours/week Monday-Friday Rest during the Bulgarian national holidays As a result of the project, participants will improve the following skills and knowledge: - Communication skills in Bulgarian - Library work - Presentation skills - Organizational skills - Digital skills - Social skills - Cultural awareness
