Description
Our Social Day Care Centre supports children and young people aged 7–18 with intellectual, physical, and multiple disabilities, as well as developmental disorders, and their families. Our goal is to help every child develop their skills, confidence, independence, and unique strengths in a safe, caring, and inclusive environment. As a volunteer, you'll spend your days alongside the children and our staff, taking part in sports, arts and crafts, educational activities, and everyday routines. A typical day includes a morning circle, creative workshops, lunch, relaxation time, active leisure, and a closing circle. Most importantly, you'll build meaningful relationships, encourage participation, and help create joyful experiences that make every day special. 💙

On-arrival and mid-term trainings; monthly meetings with your mentor; OLS.
Profil du participant
Your tasks: 💙 Support children with different disabilities in their daily routines and activities, including sports, arts and crafts, music, games, and developing everyday life skills. 🤝 Build meaningful relationships by communicating with children using English, Lithuanian, your native language, body language, or other creative ways, always respecting their individual needs. 🌟 Once you get to know the children and the centre, you'll have the opportunity to plan and lead a weekly group activity, sharing your ideas, talents, and creativity with the children.
