Rebuild with Earth – Ecological Renovation & Community Living
Together we will renovate a bungalow using natural clay plaster, install a hydronic wall heating system, and learn how natural building materials and low-temperature heating systems create ecofriendly and energy-efficient homes.
You will learn by doing:
- Clay plastering (base coat and finish coat)
- Installing hydronic wall heating
- Natural and sustainable building techniques
- Teamwork on a real construction project
Living together, sharing experiences and learning from different cultures are an essential part of the programme. Through daily reflection circles, communication workshops and team-building activities, we create a space where practical skills and personal growth go hand in hand.

Modalités d'hébergement, de restauration et de transport
Our eco-community is located in a remote rural area of Bavaria, surrounded by nature and away from city infrastructure. Accommodation will be arranged in shared rooms. Meals are vegan and organic and will be prepared together with the communitys kitchen team. Travel costs will be reimbursed according to ESC rules upon presentation of tickets. Please keep all original travel documents and bring them with you.

Profil du participant
We are looking for young people aged 18–30 who are open to community life and willing to contribute with curiosity, flexibility, and responsibility. You do not need prior experience — much more important is your readiness to engage in practical tasks, live closely with others, and take part in a shared daily rhythm.
This project may be a good fit for you if you enjoy hands-on work, are interested in sustainable living, and would like to experience what it means to support a larger collective vision through concrete everyday contribution. We appreciate people who are reliable, respectful, self-reflective, and genuinely interested in both personal and collective learning.
