The Maison de l'Europe de l'Eure is a regional association that provides information about the European Union, its institutions, current affairs and the opportunities it offers. Since 2009, we have also held the EUROPE DIRECT label, so we are an official information point for the European Union.
The aim of the Maison de l'Europe de l'Eure is to bring European citizens closer to the European institutions and to strengthen the sense of European citizenship. 2027 will be a year of presidential elections. Our role will also be to fight against fake news and misinformation.
We work closely with young people, particularly to raise awareness of European mobility opportunities. We create and take part in European projects, and we support other associations. As part of the 1,000th anniversary of William the Conqueror, you will be involved in this major project.
We strive to stay as close as possible to the public by organising projects and activities that bring Europe to life in everyday life!
Modalités d'hébergement, de restauration et de transport
The programme covers accommodation (electricity and water) . The accommodation will be shared with another volunteer. Each volunteer will have their own bedroom, while the common areas will be shared. The accommodation will be located in Évreux city centre, close to our office, so that everything is within walking distance. The bus network provides very good coverage of the whole city. We are also only one hour away from central Paris by train.
Health insurance will also be provided for the entire duration of the project.
When required for your tasks, your local transport costs will be covered.
Formation pendant l’activité
An on-arrival training will be set up. The volunteer will also have trainings with the employees of Maison de l'Europe. Our workers will make the participant take part of the National Agency's seminars and the informal days of gathering organized by our partners.
Profil du participant
We are looking for a participant who is interested in citizenship, youth mobility, the European Union and intercultural exchanges. Our activities can target young people, students and adults. We regularly organise activities in schools and youth centres, and we also have a strong presence on social media. We cover a variety of topics, including the environment, women’s rights, international mobility, project management, languages, etc. We are looking for someone who is curious and motivated and would like to share their experience. We make extensive use of social media and digital content creation tools such as Canva.
