Description
Adichats is an association working to preserve and promote our heritage by managing two medieval castles and creates social bonds. They also act for the ecological transition and the biodiversity by leading and taking part in actions for the sustainable development such as the soon-to-be project called ARBRE including educational workshops, activities, gardening,...
We are looking for volunteers who will act with us on these different axes, from helping us maintaining the castle to taking care of the medieval garden without forgetting the possibility to create wooden games for the visitors of the castle and the association and participating to the organization of a cultural and family-friendly event during you stay.
Modalités d'hébergement, de restauration et de transport
You will be welcomed to the charming village of Villandraut in South Gironde! It has all the essential local shops and services. You'll be living in collective dormitories in a large house. Meals are prepared by you, collectively.
A whole diversity of landscapes to discover here. But here's the twist – get ready for some countryside living!
Public transport is as rare as a shooting star around here, but fear not! We've got a vehicule and we always find solutions when it comes to moving, it’s just a question of organization !

Formation pendant l’activité
The workcamps are supervised by a profesional who’s role is to organise the daily life and to teach you the gestures.
The aim of this volunteering is to share a collective experience, rich in intercultural encounters.
We will be organising intercultural evenings so that everyone can cook a dish from their own country, play a game, create world citizen workshops... You'll be taking part in group leisure activities such as visiting a vineyard with wine tasting, heritage sites, open-aired activities etc. The activities are flexible depending on the season.

As part of the European Solidarity Corps we accept volunteers between 18 and 30 years old. If you've got a deep passion for heritage and environmental issues, consider that a bonus point! But here's the deal: What really matters is your enthusiasm, your openness, and a good attitude. We're not just a group; we're a team.
