Description
Join us as a volunteer at SALOME! SALOME is a center dedicated to children and young people up to 26 years old who have varying levels of mental, physical, and combined disabilities, including autism and communication disorders. Our mission is to provide social activation services through development, leisure, educational, and training activities for these individuals within the city of Bohumín and its surrounding areas. Activities: As a volunteer, your primary role will involve direct interaction with the center's users. The activities offered at the center are diverse and tailored to meet each user's specific needs as outlined in their personal cooperation plan. Training activities may focus on enhancing both soft and gross motor skills, promoting daily living skills, and supporting social interactions. You will assist the staff in planning various activities, which includes preparing tools, materials, cards, and other resources. To learn more, please visit www.intervia.cz.

If you’re between 18 and 30, open-hearted, eager to grow your professional skills, and excited to embrace new experiences, this project is made for you! 🌟 PREFERRED PERSONAL TRAITS: You should be proactive in engaging with the center’s users and in learning the Czech language. Additionally, qualities such as creativity, responsibility, empathy, a love for working with children, and the ability to remain calm around young people are highly valued.
