Active Sport Solidarity Spirit VOL VI

Active Zone Outdoor

Klavdia, Chypre

Description

Active Sport Solidarity Spirit Vol VI is a volunteering project organised by Active Zone Outdoor in Larnaca, Cyprus, from January to July 2027. The project offers young people the opportunity to develop personal, social and professional skills through sport, outdoor activities, environmental education and community engagement. Volunteers will contribute to organising inclusive activities, promoting physical and mental well-being, supporting people with disabilities and encouraging the participation of young people with fewer opportunities. Activities combine office-based, remote and outdoor work in an international and intercultural environment. Priority will be given to volunteers with fewer opportunities, who will benefit from reinforced mentorship and individualised support to ensure meaningful participation, learning and personal development.

Formation pendant l’activité
Profil du participant

We aspire to host motivated and determined young people who are eager to participate in Active Zone Outdoor's activities and develop their knowledge and skills in using sport and outdoor activities as tools for promoting physical and mental well-being, social inclusion, cohesion, and integration, particularly among young people with fewer opportunities and disabilities.

In line with our commitment to equal opportunities, diversity, and inclusion, we aim to provide meaningful volunteering opportunities to young people from diverse backgrounds. Priority will be given to young people with fewer opportunities, ensuring that those who may face social, economic, geographical, educational, or other barriers have greater access to international volunteering experiences, personal development, and non-formal learning.

To support their successful participation and personal development, reinforced mentorship and individualised support will be provided, taking into consideration each volunteer's specific needs, abilities, and circumstances.
