Want to get creative, meet new people and gain experience in organising youth events? Join Stowarzyszenie Akwedukt (www.akwedukt.org.pl) in Kwidzyn, Poland!
Help us organise Youth Day on December 10th for around 400 young people and prepare Christmas celebrations for the local youth community!
Your tasks:
- Support the preparation and organisation of Youth Day, including workshops for 400 participants.
- Prepare and deliver a presentation about the European Solidarity Corps (ESC), sharing volunteering opportunities and your experience.
- Assist workshop facilitators, welcome participants and help with event logistics.
- Plan and organise Christmas workshops and celebrations at Youth Space.
- Create handmade decorations and prepare the venue for Christmas.
- Share Christmas traditions from your country and take part in intercultural activities.

Modalités d'hébergement, de restauration et de transport
We are renting 2 flats for our volunteers in Kwidzyn. Every house consists of 3-4 rooms shared by 2-3 volunteers. The kitchen and bathroom are always shared.
Every flat has an internet connection.
All the flats are equipped with:
- Bed covers (x1/room), blanket and pillow.
- Cleaning stuff (broom, mop, dustpan, etc.)
- Iron (x1/flat).
- Heating in every flat/room
- Kitchen pots, plates, silverware, and cooking tools (simple but enough for daily life).
- Oven and cooker,
- Refrigerator with freezer.
You have to care about your private towels and hygienic stuff like soap, shampoo, hairdryer etc
Formation pendant l’activité
Volunteers are provided with an induction training, workplace health and safety training, and Polish language lessons once a week.
Profil du participant
Who are we looking for?
We are looking for motivated, open-minded and creative volunteers who:
- Enjoy working with young people and organising events.
- Are willing to actively support workshops and activities for large groups.
- Feel comfortable preparing and delivering a short presentation about European volunteering.
- Are enthusiastic about organising Christmas activities and sharing their cultural traditions.
- Can communicate in English and enjoy international teamwork.
- Are proactive, responsible and ready to contribute their own ideas.
Young people from EU countries, aged 18-30 years old.
