Formación durante la actividad

During the activity, SORGED will provide ESC volunteers with orientation and ongoing learning support. Orientation will cover the organisation, project goals, local culture, safety rules and volunteer responsibilities. Non-formal workshops will focus on youth work, intercultural learning, communication, teamwork, the environment, healthy living and disaster preparedness. Basic Turkish lessons will support daily communication. Mentoring, regular reflection sessions and Youthpass guidance will support volunteers’ learning and personal development.

Perfil del participante

SORGED is looking for motivated, open-minded and responsible young people interested in volunteering and intercultural learning. Participants should be willing to work in a team, communicate in English, and respect cultural diversity and fellow volunteers. Sensitivity to people with different needs and abilities, adaptability, and readiness to help wherever needed are important.

An interest in youth work, sports, healthy lifestyles, arts, languages, the environment, science, disaster preparedness, entrepreneurship or personal development is valued. Digital skills and experience in social media, photography, video production or content creation are an advantage but are not required. We value willingness to learn, social responsibility, sharing ideas, taking initiative and motivation to contribute to the local community more than previous experience.
