Green Roots
INOVTERRA
Salzedas, Portugal
Description
This project combines sustainable agriculture, environmental protection, rural development and community engagement. Volunteers will take part in practical activities such as gardening, sustainable farming, environmental initiatives, educational workshops, community events and intergenerational activities. Through hands-on experiences, volunteers will help promote sustainability, preserve rural traditions and strengthen connections within the local community. The project encourages teamwork, creativity, intercultural exchange and personal development in an inclusive and welcoming environment, particularly supporting young people with fewer opportunities. Join us to discover Portuguese rural life, develop new skills and make a positive impact!
Modalités d'hébergement, de restauration et de transport
Volunteers will be provided with accommodation in Salzedas, a peaceful rural village in northern Portugal, where they can experience local culture and community life. Meals will be provided throughout their stay, ensuring their daily needs. Travel costs will be covered according to European Solidarity Corps rules. INOVTERRA provides a safe, welcoming and supportive environment, encouraging learning, cultural exchange and community integration.
