Due to a cancellation we're looking URGENTLY for a volunteer to replace the Hungarian volunteer for this project in Acireale, Italy. The EVS project “Mistero Buffo” involves activities related to art and culture (i.s. artistic workshops, movie events, library, theatre, music room), enviromental and education projects in primary schools and middle schools, management of a touristic centre in the natural reserve "La Timpa", intercultural learning (Italian language course for immigrants, intercultural theatre workshop, intercultural meetings and parties, English conversation club, cinema events in original language), promotional activities of European mobility opportunities and Evs. We will host two volunteers for 12 months. Furthermore, the volunteers will be invited to propose and develop personal projects and this possibility to run their own projects will be a key factor for this learning path.
Zakwaterowanie, wyżywienie i transport
The 2 volunteers will have their double room in a shared apartment equipped with all common facilities (kitchen, washing machine, bathroom...). The house is located in the historical centre of the town and its few minutes by walk far from Mistero Buffo office.
Szkolenie w trakcie działania
The volunteers will have the opportunity of doing two trainings organised by Italian Youth National Agency -on-arrival training -mid-term evalutation The receiving organisation also provides mentorship, italian course and also weekly evaluation meetings with the volunteers of Mistero Buffo.
Profil uczestnika
Due to the need of sharing the room with another volunteer who is female we prefer to host a female volunteer. We would like to host volunteers who demonstrate Interest for the main themes of the project to spend one year in a very active cultural centre in a town with a poor cultural life and with a passion for environment since part of the service will be dedicated to promote the close natural reserve La timpa.
