Our project expects to get the following objectives: 1. Train young people to the labor market 2. Improve their professional and personal competences and skills 3. Promote their self-esteem 4. Foster an inclusion in a new environment 5. Improve the Spanish language 6. Increase their autonomy to get on well in different contexts The volunteer will have learning opportunities related to : personal autonomy improvement, knowledge of organizational self-skills, the youth work at national and international level, intercultural learning, participation in different European projects, basic knowledge about the new language (Spanish), improvement of social and personal skills, knowledge of the new culture, awareness about European citizenship and improvement of digital competences.

Alojamiento, manutención y transporte

The volunteer will be hosted in a shared apartment with other volunteers, located in the center of the city, therefore, the volunteer won’t need to take public transportation to move around the town. To create an independent feeling for the volunteer, she/he will receive, monthly, an amount of money for food. Regarding the communication, Puente Genil is well connected with the different cities of Andalusia. It has a high speed a railway line that connects with different cities of Spain. In addition, it also has a daily bus line from Puente Genil to other towns of Cordoba and Andalusia.

Formación durante la actividad

The volunteers will have to attend to 2 trainings during your volunteering in Puente Genil: The first training will be one week during the first month since his/her arrival. The second training will be at the middle of his/her volunteering activity. The aims of these trainings are sharing their experiences with other volunteers from different countries in Spain

Perfil del participante

Young people who … - are from Slovakia and Poland - are between age 18 to 30 when his /her SVE starts. - Show interest in working with international youth work, organizing activities and events, managing European projects. - Show interest in learning Spanish culture and exchanging experiences with the community. - We will value if the volunteer has knowledge of Spanish and English language. - We will value if the volunteer has social skills, capacity for empathy to adapt to different environments. - We will value social media and digital competences
