Description de l’activité

We offer 12-month volunteering stay. You will: help with small children in our mini-kindergarten (1,5-3 years, mostly play :-), teach conversation classes in your native language and/or English (adults' and children's groups, small groups), assist professors in language classes in local high schools, in summer you would co-organise weekly camps for school children on different topics and you will have a chance to come up with your own ideas and projects that you would like to use in your future career. We also appreciate help in the promotion of our center, so if you like taking photos and can shoot and edit videos - great! You will work maximum 30 hours a week.

Modalités d'hébergement, de restauration et de transport

You would have your own room in a 4-room appartment shared with other volunteers, typically from France,Spain, Germany and Russia. Accommodation is paid by our organisation. Transport is re-imbursed and pocket money and food allowance are really enough to live and travel on. Hot lunches are provided for you in Akropolis, our organisation.

Formation pendant l’activité

On-arrival training as well as mid-term training are organised by our National Agency and are highly praised by our volunteers. Feedback and evaluation will be official in your Youthpass as well as informal throughout your stay. Possibilities to learn and train are many. We are happy to provide you with a letter of reference to help you in future job search.

- open, communicative, tolerant, positive, happy to experience and appreciate a different culture and proud to share their own culture and language - enjoys working with children of all age groups, including the youngest (1,5-3 years) - happy to meet new people and teach - active in developing their own interests and skills and share them - ready to enjoy new friendships in their international group of volunteers.
