“Be Brave” is a LONG-TERM volunteering project, which will be coordinated by the Foundation of Social Integration Prom and will involve 2 volunteers coming to Wroclaw, Poland to participate in activities focused on international cooperation, multiculturalism, learning by doing method, exchange of experience. Activities will be carried out by the Brave Kids team from the Song of the Goat Theatre Association (Hosting Organisation). Volunteers' tasks will involve preparing and leading online and offline intercultural workshops (for local children, host families, volunteers, Brave Kids staff, research and maintain contact with specific artistic groups, coordinating of elements of the program), creating and updating documents for project, creating promo materials. Alojamiento, manutención y transporte

You will be provided with: monthly allowance (120 euro a month: around 556 PLN and food money 520 PLN), local transportation card (for trams, buses and night buses), place in a room shared with other volunteers or students (with Internet access, kitchen equipment, fresh towels, bedclothes and blanket), all the required medical examinations, reimbursement of the travel costs from the city of origin to Wroclaw and back.

Formación durante la actividad

Pre-departure training in your Sending Organisation, training with the Coordinating Organisation (The Foundation of Social Integration Prom), on-arrival training in Warsaw (capital) or online due to pandemic, mid-term training (evaluation) in Toruń or online due to pandemic, language training (4 school hours/week during first 2-3 months), basic health and safety training.

Perfil del participante

We are looking for 2 aspiring, self-driven and creative ESC eligible participants who: have good organisational skills, have a basic level of computer literacy, are responsible and trustworthy, are able to work independently, are able to react quickly in stressful situations, have a positive attitude to life and changes, have a clean criminal record. Additionally, any experience in community activities or project management, audio-visual, visual, artistic, dance or theatrical skills, ability to speak other foreign languages will be welcome.
