Volunteer in Estonia - kindergarten PÄIKESEKIIR (10-months)

Beschreibung der Tätigkeit

NGO Continuous Action is searching 1 volunteer for a long-term volunteering project in Viljandi County, Estonia. The volunteer will work in local kindergarten Päikesekiir that has 3 locations in Päri, Pärsti and Puiatu. The kindergarten offers pre-school education to kids 1.5-7 years old. The volunteer can take part in all activities of the kindergarten and work in all 3 locations. Some of the work tasks include assisting in the groups with kids every-day routine, preparing and running activities for kids (e.g. hobby groups) and helping in outdoor and indoor activities (e.g. study visits, games). The kindergarten is very much looking forward welcoming an international volunteer who could raise the awareness of his/her traditions at home and bring cultural diversity into the local community.

Beitrag zu Unterbringung, Verpflegung und Reisekosten

Accommodation and local transport: Volunteer is living in a shared household. The local transport is organised. International transport: The travel grant depends on a travelled distance and can be 275€ / 360€ or 530€ for round tickets. Visa costs and other exceptional cost are covered up to real costs based on justification (if needed and applicable). Volunteer receives pocket money 5€/per day.

Fortbildung im Rahmen der Tätigkeit

Volunteer is attending at on-arrival training and mid-term training organised by Estonian National Agency. In addition volunteer is supported before mobility by support organisation and will also take part in local orientation in host organisation.

Teilnehmerprofil

Volunteer with a level of English language ability, interest and willingness to work in this field. Openness to integrate into new culture. No extra experience required, but having it is an advantage.
