Description de l’activité

Call for ESC volunteers for short term Volunteering team project in Spain. We are looking for 15 volunteers from EU who are interested in permaculture, sustainable lifestyle, environment and its preservation. Project duration: 16 days+2 travel days, starting on 1st of March, 2023. Project activities include: - Theory of permaculture - Organic garden and food forest maintenance in accordance with permaculture principles - Homemade food crafts - Care of farm animals - Recycling activities, - Construction activities based on bio-construction criteria, - Other environmental activities.

Modalités d'hébergement, de restauration et de transport

The association IMORA will provide accommodation for the volunteers in a hostel, shared rooms with own bathroom and shower, it is fully furnished and has everything needed to ensure an adequate accommodation (kitchen utensils, towels, blankets, etc.). Food and transport needed for devellopement of activities also will be provided by host organization. There is no need for local transport during the project, activities are develloped in the same place. Internet connection, WiFi access in the main building.

Formation pendant l’activité

The host entity offers necessary preparation for the performance of all tasks to prevent risks that the activities may cause. As the team of the association is international, the period of adaptation in intercultural environment is facilitated by offering linguistic support and translation if needed. Monitoring and preparation of volunteers by tutors or responsible for the activities will be offered.

Profil du participant

Between 18 and 30 years old. 15 volunteers who are interested and willing to participate in the carrying out of different activities in the rural environment. People with motivation and initiative, regardless of the experience, gender or socio-economic situation of the person, with the eagerness to learn, and giving them a space not only to develop the current agroecological projects, but also to create their own microprojects. It is essential for the volunteer to have a passion for nature and interest in the development of a sustainable rural environment. Able to live with other people.
