MEAL Officer in Bolivia (El Alto) Humanitarian Volunteer

CPMGA is an institution with 40 years of work in the city of El Alto. Our mission is to achieve a more inclusive and equitable society for women, with institutional work that seeks a return to the territory, women's rights, democracy and from a non-hegemonic feminist perspective, oriented towards joint building and with a wide approach to women's dialogues. Join us at our office in El Alto!! You will have the opportunity to support monitoring and evaluation tasks in cooperation and humanitarian aid projects. You will participate in the management and collection of project information for the formulation and analysis of lessons learned, and you will make recommendations on the management, formulation and monitoring of implemented projects. By the end of your experience you will be familiar with updating and developing advocacy strategies.

Alojamiento, manutención y transporte

You will have the opportunity to live with other people but with individual bedroom. The accommodation costs and utility bills will be covered by the organization and a phone card will be provided. The house will be located close to the office. You will receive a monthly allowance of 600€ for your personal expenses, including food and local transport. For the activities of Alianza, a vehicle will be provided. You will also be covered with a health insurance (Henner).

Formación durante la actividad

You will receive training which will cover topics such as: induction to Alianza por la Solidaridad, induction to the European Solidarity Corps, responsibilities and rights of the organisations and of the volunteer, Youthpass, Henner insurance and SHEA. In addition, you will be trained more specifically in feminist leadership, management and implementation of monitoring and evaluating activities and you will acquire knowledge related to the elaboration of reports. In the end of your volunteering, you will know how to work in a multidisciplinary team, both on the field and in the office.

Perfil del participante

We are looking for a person eager to learn and work in a team and able to adapt to the context. Interest in developing skills in monitoring and evaluating projects and programmes of social impact. Basic knowledge and any experience on tasks related to critical analysis, writing and oral skills, as well as Spanish and English language skills, will be an asset. If you are migrant, live in rural areas, have limited economic support or any other don´t hesitate to sign up, this opportunity is for everyone!
