Description
Volunteers play a vital role in creating and developing activities for elderly home, In this context, an institution located in Beja has been promoting various initiatives social. Volunteers can organize games, arts and crafts workshops, music sessions, or even outdoor walks, always with the goal of enriching the lives of the elderly and combating loneliness. For kidsgarden, activity proposals can include storytelling, theater sessions, and playful activities that encourage creativity and motor development in children. Volunteers need to be prepared to adapt the activities to the needs and ages of the little ones, ensuring a safe and fun environment at all times. Additionally, it is worth mentioning the collaboration with the Estar Association, an organization that works with refugees and people in need. In this association, volunteers can contribute in various ways.

The volunteer will have the opportunity to share the house with other dedicated volunteers.
Training during the activity
Initial orientation: Volunteers receive a comprehensive orientation about the project, their responsibilities, expectations, rules and regulations, as well as information about the host organization and the community in which they will be working. As volunteers may work in multicultural contexts and deal with people from different backgrounds and cultures, intercultural training is often offered to help them understand and respect cultural differences, promote intercultural sensitivity and avoid misunderstandings.
