Arts&Culture @ Bäckerei Kulturbackstube in Innsbruck, Austria

Opis działania

The “Bäckerei” (the German word for bakery) is an old former bakery which had been abandoned for ten years, until 2010. A motivated bunch of people took over and breathed life into the building. It has now become a successful platform for cultural exchange and social innovation in Innsbruck, which aims to enable people to share knowledge and know-how on cultural themes and topics of social interest. There is no specific target group - we have a wide range of activities suitable for a big spectrum of audience. Whether someone wants to host weekly Yoga classes, music workshops, regular start up meetings or organize a concert or any kind of artistic endeavour, we provide support to make it happen. Our wish for this project is that the volunteer is highly interested in culture management, creating new event formats and working with existing ones! Zakwaterowanie, wyżywienie i transport

Accommodation in a shared flat in Innsbruck, quite centrally. A bike can be used for Transportation. During the voluntary service the volunteer will receive accommodation, food money (300,- Euro per month), pocket money (150,- Euro) and a German course. The volunteer can also have lunch on weekdays during the season at Die Bäckerei. You can find more info in the Project Description on www.mei-infoeck.at/volunteer

Profil uczestnika

We would be happy to host a volunteer who: • Is between 18 and 30 years old and an EU/EEA resident • Has a personal interest and/or experience in arts, media, photography, film, communication or social innovation • Is open-minded, flexible, pro-active and communicative • Is interested in learning and creating web content • Brings in practical handcraft skills or is willing to learn • Is highly interested in culture management, creating new event formats and working with existing ones here • Has an intermediate English level and is motivated to learn German
