Centro Culturale Fonti San Lorenzo is a voluntary association commited to preserve and make alive one of the few socialization spaces of the homonymous district of Recanati. Born in the early 1990s, recovering a farmhouse and its abandoned park, then becoming a permanent venue of its activities, the organization grew over time, struggling to make that space become a place of aggregation, cultural proposal , solidarity and participatory democracy. Halfway between an aggregation center and a cultural and social promotion center, Centro San Lorenzo works every day for an aggregation that doesn't serve the different age groups separately but favors the meeting, coexistence and intergenerational Centro Culturale Fonti San Lorenzo is a voluntary association commited to preserve and make alive one of the few socialization spaces of the homonymous district of Recanati. About Activities: - working with children and guys in a dinamic context - video creation in the post-earthquake areas

Modalités d'hébergement, de restauration et de transport

You will live in a flat in Recanati, 2 minutes walking from the Centro Culturale Fonti San Lorenzo and 10 from the city center. You will have an individual room in a shared apartement. We will also provide food allowence for shopping and eat and the pocket money for personal expenses. The travel expenses will be refunded on the basis defined by the European Commission.

Formation pendant l’activité

Volunteers will participate in the On Arrival Training organized by the Italian National Agency. The association provide all the learning support for the everyday activities based on anti-autoritarian and auto-gestional methodologies, and also Italian classes, besides OLS (online language support) given by European Comission.

Profil du participant

We are looking for 2 volunteers for any Program Country, preferably from different countries. The ideal volunteer should be a young person, carefull, funny and dinamic, prepared to work with children, youngsters and elderly, everyday. We search a person that fit in the values of the cultural center like: tolerance, interculturality, participation, democracy and team work. Volunteers need to be registered in the European Solidarity Corps portal to take part to the project (http://europa.eu/youth/solidarity_en)
