EVS works in Kecskemét

Opis działania

Start: Autumn/2019 End: Winter/2019 Duration of the project: 4 months Place: Kecskemét, Hungary Main Tasks: Promote EVS program and volunteer's country to students and young people, Create educational, social and cultural activities, Support the hosting organisation in all its activities, Organise and deliver activities for kids and young people aged 10 to 25 years old, Participating in everyday group activity with children, Helping in organizing public events, Organizing and running handcraft activities with the children, Sport class for young people, Theatre club for children, Personal development program for children through different activities like singing, group games, educational stories, handmade, relaxing time, Helping in organizing different events like Christmas Party, Child Day, Museums day, where the volunteers will prepare the materials, organizing group games for children, go with the child on every workshop, making cards, relaxing room, lecture club, etc.

Zakwaterowanie, wyżywienie i transport

The volunteers will live in rental apartment of the organisation (either sharing a larger room with an other volunteer of the same gender or having a small separate room). For breakfast, dinner and non-working days the volunteers receive 20.000 HUF (~65 EUR) in cheques, the cost of lunch for the working days (about an additional 20.000 HUF (~65 EUR)/month) is also covered. Lunch is ordered or will be provided in a restaurant depending on the on-going activities. For the volunteers we can provide bikes.

Szkolenie w trakcie działania

Volunteers will participate in on-arrival and mid-term training organized by Hungarian National Agency. Work related training and guidance will be performed by tutors in the youth centres. Volunteers will participate in online Hungarian language education.

Profil uczestnika

We are looking for motivated and proactive 4 volunteers whom are legally residing in Finland, Greece, Romania and Spain; in youth work. We will work with other 3 international volunteers, who will do different activities like: playing activities, handicraft, dance, theatre, music, language class, summer camps, leisure activities, organizing different events, etc. in the organization. Mid twenties, moderate English skills (B2 or higher), good communication skills. Able to get on with others who have different cultures. Advantage: - experience with children aged 10-25 years old
