Zaislu muziejus (Toy museum) in Vilnius is a non profit organisation opened to present the history of toys and games as a very important part of everyday life. Museum is based on modern museology and tries to involve visitors in the active exploration of exhibitions and topics. Museum organizes various education activities for visitors of different age groups. Museums welcomes families with children to spend some quality time together in the museum and to learn new things or to explore new ideas by playing with replicas of ancient toys and original ones. Though museums is small, however, the history of toys and games reaches the oldest periods of mankind history. Museums offers to take a look to the different periods and different ways of daily activities. Museums is open to local society and tourists encouraging all visitors to play and have fun. It is the most important activities to train creativity and open mind.
