Beschreibung der Einrichtung

Our work at Bregtal School is centered around giving support to children & young adults with mental and physical handicaps. Our kids are between 6 and 20 years of age. We support them according to their needs in our part-time and boarding school. EVS volunteers will spend most of their time with a specific, small class of the part-time school. Apart from this, volunteers have the opportunity to get to know other areas like speech-therapy, snoezelen or physiotherapy. Also, depending on the volunteer's interests there are lots of possibilities to try out and conduct own projects, of course, always supported by a professional member of our well-trained staff.
Bregtal School already has long experience as an EVS host. We are proud to have hosted volunteers from all over Europe in great, unforgettable projects during the past couple of years. We are located in Furtwangen in the south of Germany. It is a small town in the beautiful, rural centre of the Black Forest between Freiburg im Breisgau and Donaueschingen.
