Description de l'organisation
AFS is an international, voluntary, non profit organisation that provides intercultural learning opportunities to help people develop the knowledge, skills and understanding needed to create a more peaceful world. AFS does this through several exchange programs, like EVS.
AFS works in cooperation with several AFS partners in more than 50 countries world wide. On a European level we are represented by the European federation for Intercultural Learning.
The organisation where the EVS activities will take place is CJP. We choose to cooperate with the goal of establishing more intercultural understanding and active citizenship in societies.
CJP vzw (Cultureel Jongeren Paspoort) motivates young people (16-30) to engage in cultural activities in their local area. On our website www.bill.be they can not only read about music, theatre, film, reading and lifestyle, we also encourage them to become an active reporter to review cultural events and write about culture. The organisation exists since 1974, but we recently renewned our website and name by which we communicate with young people. From September 2013, we use the name BILL to communicate. Our former website was www.cjp.be, now we have the brand www.BILL.be to do the same thing, but better. EYCA (the European Youth Card) is the card young people buy from us to have benefits (in cultural activities, but also on telephone costs, travel, etc.).
