Descripción de la organización:

Fialta was founded on the 17th of February 1995 and re-registered on the 8th of august 2006 (certificate №05/0577). The main aim of Fialta is to help those who get in touch with the organisation to consciously determine their own life stand and develop a free and flexible way of thinking. The main activities of Fialta are seminars and trainings for young adults in the city of Minsk in addition to conducting trainings for other NGOs. Fialta also is a place where young people can realize their own ideas, develop initiatives and get needed support.
Fialta is not a political organisation, but the conviction for a democratic change in society is strong among its members and volunteers but as an organisation Fialta is defining itself as a civil society organisation.
We have close cooperation with several other organizations in Minsk as well as on the regional and international level. Fialta is a part of international network “SALTO EECA multipliers network” of European Union programme Youth in Action with a mission of promoting non-formal education for young people.
Fialta has established effective and sustainable partnership with local authorities (Minsk’s Department of youth, Ministry of Education department of youth).
Short summary:
-Fialta has eighteen years experience of work in sphere of non-formal and civic education:
-more than 200 seminars and training courses for more than 20 000 people for the last 5 years in sphere of peer-education, HIV/AIDS and drug abuse prevention, effective communication, intercultural education, organizational management & development, conflict resolution, leadership, interactive methods in education etc. ;
-members of Fialta are authors of the books and scientific publications on issues within competence of Fialta (NGO Development, Peer education, Effective communication, Healthy Life Style);
-projects of Fialta are aimed at teenagers and young adults (14 – 28 years old), youth workers and specialists of NGO's.
