Description of organisation

AIESEC is a youth run organization with over 90.000 members in over 124 countries. Having as main aim “Peace and Fulfillment of human kind potential”, we are running national and international projects aiming to develop young people through international experiences and leadership opportunities.
AIESEC is a global, non-political, independent, non-for-profit organisation, and its members are interested in world issues, leadership and management.
In addition to providing leadership positions and delivering conferences, AIESEC runs an exchange programme that enables young people the opportunity to live and work in another country.
In 1960, AIESEC in FEP born and since than have been one of the top performance local offices in Portugal! The organization provided 422 exchange opportunities to young people, both sending abroad Portuguese students (220) and receiving international youth in the country (202). Professional internship were always our core and a few years ago we start to give volunteering opportunities since we find this a great way of creating positive impact in society.
In our daily activities we work with students, companies, organizations and universities with allows us to organize different kind of exchanges, activities and projects. Internships abroad are our main focus because we want to develop young people to became the leaders of tomorrow. AIESEC is a plataform wich develops not only the people that goes for exchange bue also the members who work for that to happen.
Companies and universities help us to grow and to delivery experience with quality. They admire our work and support it.
Through our programmes wer contribute to internationalize every participant, to exchange knowledge and to change lifes!
AIESEC in FEP has seven different functional area, it’s like a company! We have a financial department, a human resources department, a information management department, a business development department, external relations department, international relations department and marketing department. Thanks to this structure we can manage our daily operations and cover all our costumers.
We organize training conference and others activities which keep us closed to the students and always push us to do more and better.
