Descripción de la organización:

All-Ukrainian Association for youth Cooperation “Alternative-V” - is a non-political, non-profit non-governmental organization, founded in 1992. Alternative-V was created to facilitate cooperation between youth organizations, to involve Ukrainian young people in programs on the national and international level in the fields of non-formal education, sport, culture, ecology, historical heredity protection, and helping disadvantaged people. Alternative-V has the aim to contribute to the development of a more peaceful society, to the decrease of social injustice. The Association obtained all-Ukrainian status in 1999. The main activities of the organization include short-term voluntary projects - international youth voluntary workcamps in different regions of Ukraine, long-term voluntary projects, seminars, conferences, and training on both national and international levels, youth exchanges, and educational programs. The organization is a member of: - CCIVS (Coordinating Committee for International Voluntary Service) - Alliance of the European Voluntary Service Organisations - National Youth Council of Ukraine The organization is official partner of: - SCI (Service Civil International).
