The Non-Profit-Association „Wiener Ungarischer Schulverein“ was founded in 1926.The Association has two main fields of activity:1. The association supports the Hungarian minority in Austria with language training (mother tongue) aswell as cultural and traditional activities. Supported by the Austrian Federal Chancellery it is possible tooffer the Hungarians applied geography for children and adults.2. The Association also operates a language training centre which offers courses for Hungarian andGerman as a foreign language. A very high qualified and well-trained staff supports our students. Weare the national ECL Exam Centre and offer preparatory courses and international ECL - languageexams certified by the “European Consortium for the Certificate of Attainment in Modern Languages”.3. We also contribute our experience to projects in various fields, e.g. by the 1st of October 2007 we aresupporting a bilingual (German/Hungarian) Kindergarten opened in Vienna.4. Since September 2008 we participate various LLL Projects; Grundtvig and Comenius, we are hostingalso Comenius Assistants and Erasmus participants.We attend over 100 children and 150 adult student.Since 2012 we were an accredited Host Organisation for EVS. In this period we hosted 2 young candidates.
