Descripción de la organización:

L’association « Ensemble au Val d’Ornay » est une association d’habitants du quartier du Val d’Ornay (3500 habitants) à la Roche sur Yon (60000 habitants)
Elle développe des animations socio éducative et culturelles en direction des publics enfance, jeunesse et adulte.
La ville de la Roche sur Yon lui a confié la gestion de la Maison de Quartier du Val d’Ornay et des centres de loisirs enfance et jeunesse.
L’association a un agrément centre social délivré par la Caisse d’Allocations Familiales, suite à la réalisation d’un projet social. Ce projet est réalisé conjointement avec les professionnels, les élus et les habitants du quartier, avec l’appui des différents acteurs présents sur le territoire (travailleurs sociaux, associations sportives et culturelles…)
Le renouvellement de ce projet social a eu lieu en 2014, et met en évidence les valeurs de l’association (démocratie, tolérance et laïcité, solidarité et autonomie), et ses engagements pour le développement individuel et collectif des habitants. Par exemple :
- s’ouvrir vers le monde par le biais de spectacles, activités, échanges
- Favoriser la mixité sociale, culturelle dans nos activités

L’association est dirigée par un conseil d’administration composé d’habitants et de représentants d’associations adhérentes (association des ainés, association de gymnastique…). Les projets sont développés au sein des différentes commissions : enfance, jeunesse, famille, animation, solidarité et internationale. Cela touche donc tous les publics.
Les commissions qui sont animées par l’équipe d’animation et les bénévoles mettent en vie différents projets tel que :
- Commission internationale : « semaine internationale », semaine interculturelle.
- Commission enfance et jeunesse : accueil et activités enfance jeunesse
- Commission animation : Fête de quartier
Celles ci peuvent avoir une dimension ville en partenariat avec les autres maisons de quartier.
Depuis 2009, la ville a développé et mutualisé les compétences de la maison de quartier avec deux autres Maisons de quartier voisines, celle de Saint André d’Ornay et celle des Forges, appelées aujourd’hui Territoire.
Le travail de territoire est un atout dans l'accueil des volontaires et leurs permet d’avoir une vision plus globale de l’animation sur plusieurs quartiers, d'étendre leurs réseaux et leurs expériences.

The city of the Roche sur Yon attributed her the management of the Community center of the Val d' Ornay and the leisure centers childhood and youth.
The association has an enjoyment community center freed by the Family allowance fund, further to the realization of a social project. This project is realized together with the professionals, the elected representatives and the local residents, with the support of the various present actors on the territory (social workers, sports and cultural associations).
The renewal of this social project took place in 2014, and highlights the values of the association (democracy, tolerance and secularism, solidarity and autonomy), and its commitments for the individual and collective development of the inhabitants. For example:
- Open towards the world by means of shows(entertainments), activities, exchanges
- Favor the social, cultural mix in our activities.
The association is managed by a board of directors(board meeting) compound(made up) of inhabitants and representatives of associations members (association of the elder sons(brothers), the association of gymnastics). The projects are developed within the various committees(commissions): childhood, youth, family, animation, solidarity and international. It thus affects(touches) all the public.
The committees(commissions) which are livened up(led) by the team of animation and the volunteers put alive various projects such as:
- International committee: " international week ", intercultural week.
- Committee childhood and youth: welcome(reception) and activities childhood youth
- Committee animation: block party.
Those this can have a dimension city in partnership with the other community centers.
Since 2009, the city developed and mutualized the skills of the community center with two other nearby Community centers, that of saint André d' Ornay and that of the Forges, the called today Territory.
The work of territory is an asset(trump card to welcome of the volunteers and their allows to have a more global vision of the animation on several districts, to spread(widen) their networks and their experiences.
