Descripción de la organización:

Centrum Miedzynarodowej Wymiany Młodziezy i Wolontariatu (International Youth Exchange and Voluntary Service Centre) is an association established in 2008 aiming at:
- Popularisation of international voluntary service as a form of educational youth meetings,
- Developing different forms of international youth exchange,
- Empowering young people by providing youth information and supporting youth initiatives,
- Encouraging young people to voluntary service and active participation in society.
It is also important for us to give an opportunity to Polish youth to participate in the international voluntary movement.

Our main activities include:
- organising international voluntary service projects such as individual mid- and long-term projects and workcamps,
- recruiting and preparing volunteers for local events and activities,
- organising events promoting local and international voluntary service as well as workshops, trainings and thematic meetings,
- sending Polish youth for international voluntary service projects abroad.

The target group of the activities is mainly youth at the age 16 – 30 however many of them involves other age groups. Our activities are organised in cooperation with local partners such as local authorities, social care centres, culture centres, libraries, schools, associations and foundations.

The seat of the association and its office is located in Pultusk, a small town in Northern Masovia. Pultusk and the Pultusk county is also the main area of activity of the association.
