NGO VitaTiim is a non-formal learning centre founded in 2008.
Our mission is to create an inspiring international environment for Ida-Virumaa people in order to promote participation in lifelong learning and effective implementation of competences on the way of personal development in the global world. Our most important task is to make young and grown-up people believe in their own capabilities.
Our objectives are:
- young people have developed key competences: communication in the mother tongue and communication in foreign languages, mathematical competence and basic competences in science and technology, digital competence, learning to learn, social and civic competence, sense of initiative and entrepreneurship, Cultural awareness and expression.
- young people make career decisions based on their competences and experiences;
- young people have developed intercultural competence and use opportunities of international experience both on local and international level. We contribute to development of learning community.

These years we have had the following projects and activities in order to achieve the objectives:
- ESC project "Solidarity in the 21st century" financed by European Solidarity Corps. In frame of this project 6 volunteers from different countries are already doing their voluntary services in Narva and
Kohtla-Järve, we're waiting for 4 more volunteers from Germany, France, Italy and Hungary.
- EVS project "The Beauty of Diversity" financed by Erasmus+: Youth in Action programme. In frame of this project 11 volunteers from different countries were doing their voluntary services in Narva and
Kohtla-Järve, 2 volunteers are doing their voluntary service now;
- last year we have hosted volunteers from Vietnam, Cambodia and Honduras and we sent Estonian volunteers to Mexico and Honduras in the frames of CODE project;
- Strategic EVS project "Volunteering is the way" financed by Erasmus+: Youth in Action programme. In frame of this project 12 volunteers from different countries were doing their voluntary services in
Narva and Kohtla-Järve, but also we arranged complementary activities to increase awareness of EVS;
- EVS project "Busy like a bee or volunteering in youth centre "Beehive" financed by Erasmus+: Youth in Action programme. One volunteer from Armenia had her service in Sillamäe in frame of the project;
- EVS project „Everyone is learning vol.2“ financed by Erasmus+: Youth in Action programme. In frame of this project 9 volunteers had their voluntary service in Ida-Virumaa;
- training and counselling for young people to empower and teach them to write and implement their own projects;
- English Access Microscholarship Programm for 13-16 y.o. youngsters from Narva and Sillamäe funded by US department;
- weekly Language Clubs (English, Spanish and German) and Music Cafe run by international and local volunteers;
- international youth exchanges;
- youth meetings between Estonian and Russian speaking youngsters;
- arranging internship of students from different European vocational schools;
- open learning space where young people organize movie nights, handicraft workshops, different celebrations, thematic events and other youth initiatives.
Last year we have received support for our magazine "Narvamus" and we already had 6 issues of it.
We arrange local and international trainings for youngsters and youth workers. Our colleagues have worked out two handbooks for teaching youngsters to write projects.

  • This organisation holds a European Solidarity Corps Quality Label. The Quality Label certifies that the organisation is able to run projects in compliance with the principles and objectives of the European Solidarity Corps.
