The Institute of Creative Activities was established in 2008 with the idea of ​​promoting the development of society through education and culture. The mission of the Foundation is to support the sustainable development of a conscious society through all forms of active citizenship. Since its inception, the Institute of Creative Activities has initiated and implemented a number of projects, in cooperation with local authorities, with the Polish education system or based on international cooperation.
The main area of ​​our activities is running the 3 Floors Educational Center, which is a space that brings together people
creative, social activists from Łódź. At the center, we regularly run:
- creative workshops for various age and professional groups
- series of workshops promoting culture and reading
- circus techniques workshops
- historical workshops
- educational and language workshops for seniors (including those conducted by international volunteers)
- art workshops for seniors, especially with an intergenerational dimension
- training for non-governmental organizations
- projects to counteract exclusion, e.g. "Diverse family - a real family"

Moreover, we organize:
- own and commissioned external educational events
- international training and study visits for adults and youth exchanges
- local and international volunteering projects

All the activities carried out are based on the original method of supporting the process of creative thinking, on the use of non-formal methodology, learning through experience, interactive tools, theatrical arts and film.
IDT also:
- supports the promotion of Polish national traditions, incl
multicultural
- builds bonds of initiatives shaping local cultural policy, building relationships between various stakeholders in the field of education and art
- supports creative local initiatives in popularizing Polish heritage
- shapes creative, responsible and conscious consumers of culture and art
- supports initiatives shaping local cultural policies
- creates its own solutions using creative techniques to promote the creative expression of young people and adults.

Projects implemented so far: creative workshops,
"Slavic Inspiration" historical reconstruction workshops, regional educational workshops, Family Backyard Games Zone, historical cycles, ecology classes,
intergenerational activities on a healthy and active lifestyle, ecological festivals and picnics, "Festival of culture and bread", "Sewn with history", historical festivals, bread festival.

The Foundation also conducts youth participation projects - training and exchanges (eg Sense and sensibility, Historical games and plays).
Beneficiaries: children, youth, seniors.

Areas of activity: Cultural education, regional education, promotion of culture, promotion of creativity, creating space for creativity, shaping consumers of culture and art, cultural policy, creative activities. The Foundation takes part in many projects, cooperates with foreign partners in short-term Erasmus + projects as training and exchange.
She also led a long-term project with secondary schools and municipal institutions on youth policy and youth participation. The Foundation runs workshops for children, youth and
seniors: about local history, civil society, language, culinary, creative, sports and artistic workshops for people of all ages. All these activities are planned in such a way that there is space for volunteers to participate, so that they can get involved as much as they want and to the extent that they feel competent. The Institute has 9 years of experience in organizing and coordinating European Voluntary Service projects. So far, we have hosted about 50 volunteers from all over Europe. We also cooperate with educational institutions of various levels and
cultural institutions in the Łódź region, including students of the Film School in Łódź, the Academy of Fine Arts, the City Library who engage in our activities, as well as with public institutions
